Young screen sensation Amanda Bynes ("Big Fat Liar", TV's "The Amanda Show") stars as a spirited young American girl, raised by her feminist mother (Kelly Preston - "For Love of the Game", "Jerry Maguire"), who decides to find her long-lost father (Colin Firth - "Bridget Jones Diary", "Shakespeare in Love") in London who is completely unaware that he even has a daughter. When Daphne's (Bynes) impulsive behavior creates an uproar in high society, her unique style threatens to undermine the relationship she has waited her whole life to experience.
